About Me

I’m Trevor Flamini — a Midwesterner at heart, an entrepreneur by nature, and, as the grandson of two sets of local deli owners, a firm believer in the power of small business.

I was born in New Jersey but raised in Wichita, Kansas, where the values of hard work, family, and community were firmly instilled in me. I carried those principles with me as I built a career in finance, ultimately becoming an investor at GTCR, a private equity firm based in Chicago. There, I partnered with management teams to analyze, acquire, and grow companies from the outside. It was an invaluable experience, but I was always more drawn to what happens on the inside — the people, the decisions, and the day-to-day dedication that drive a company forward.

I formed Highgate Lane to acquire and operate a founder-owned services business. Ultimately, I’m building Highgate Lane as a family business of my own, which means playing the long game: protecting what you’ve built, treating people with respect, and building on your legacy with care and commitment.
